Talk first,
match later.

No profile, no photo, no real name — just a conversation with one stranger. If it's good and you both tap Keep in touch, that's the match: you can talk again any time. If it isn't, you close the tab.

  • Leave in one tap
  • Video starts covered
  • Stranger chats aren't saved

Three steps, and none of them is a form.

  1. Press one button

Sign in once and pick a username. Then one button pairs you with one person who also wants to talk right now. No questionnaire, no swiping, no waiting to be noticed.

  2. Talk, or deal a card

If the first thirty seconds are awkward — they usually are — deal a question card. You both see it, either of you can skip it, and nobody is told who did. Or play something small beside the chat, like Four in a Row.

  3. Keep in touch, or don't

Somewhere along the way you each decide, privately, whether to keep in touch. If you both do, you can talk again any time. If only one of you does, nobody finds out.

Text · voice · video

Text first. Voice and video only if you both say yes.

Every conversation starts with words. Going further is something the two of you decide together, and either of you can stay exactly where you are.

  1. Text

Where every conversation starts. They see your username and what you type. Nothing else.

  2. Voice

Only when you both choose it. Until then, nobody hears a thing.

  3. Video

Only when you both choose it, and it starts covered for both of you. It uncovers when you both tap, and either of you can cover it again, instantly.

Built by people who have been made uncomfortable online.

Every default here starts from the assumption that you should not have to be brave to use it. You never have to negotiate, explain, or perform patience with anyone.

How safety actually works
  • Nobody sees you first

Video starts covered for both of you, and it only uncovers when you both tap. Either of you can cover it again, instantly.

  • Leaving needs no reason

One tap, always in the same corner. No confirmation, no “are you sure”, and they're never told why.

  • Reporting ends it

Report someone and the conversation is over. On their side it looks exactly like you left. Nothing tells them it was a report.

  • Nothing is saved

A conversation with a stranger exists only while it's happening. When it ends, it's gone. Meetle doesn't keep a copy.
